Boynton Beach Residents Pick Up Free Local Trees

Participate in a Weekend Boynton Beach Centennial Giveaway
The Ezell Hester Community Center on North Seacrest Boulevard is holding a drive-through tree giveaway free to Boynton Beach residents. The City is partnering with Community Greening to host this event on Saturday, December 12, starting at 10:00 a.m. This giveaway is in honor of Boynton Beach’s Centennial.
The following tree species are available for pickup, with a total of 100 large and 100 small trees available:
- Simpson’s stopper (Myrcianthes fragrans)
- Mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni)
- Gumbo limbo (Bursera simaruba)
- Red maple (Acer rubrum)
- Wild mastic (Pistacia lentiscus)
Trees are given away on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participation is confirmed by asking for a valid city address. Residents of Boynton Beach can choose up to two trees per car. A police officer will direct traffic to ensure safe travel.
