Fort Lauderdale residents were caught off guard when historic rains hit the city. The relentless downpour led to catastrophic flooding in numerous areas, including a high-rise building on iconic Las Olas Boulevard that required immediate attention. The building's interior was inundated, posing a significant threat to its structure and the safety of its residents.
